Craig Anthony Miller, "CAM," born in Brooklyn, New York started painting live at a venue in the Lower East Side of NYC. Surrendering in 1996 into a rebirth of art from childhood and truly emoting on canvas versus his trained background of computerizing his creative images.
Initially influenced by stained glass art, CAM now employs his graphic art training and the street art dominating NY's boroughs to provide a rich cultural diversity from which he draws much of his inspiration.
CAMs work is a time traveling exploration of far-reaching distant lands run by tribal warriors who morph stealthily into todays urban landscape capturing moments of clarity amidst busy lives. The ongoing theme is the warrior known as the 'Warrior Within,' a symbol with which we can each identify.
